I am a retired pastor, educator, entrepreneur, public speaker, human rights advocate and author whose life has taken me far and wide. Now residing in Guatemala, I continue to write, teach, and inspire with the same energy and convictions that have shaped my decades of ministry and activism. A mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother, I consider my family the greatest achievement. My work—rooted in spirituality, justice, and personal empowerment—reflects a lifetime of diverse experiences.

I have lived in Pennsylvania; Ontario and Saskatchewan, Canada, Hawaii, Michigan, Belize, and Guatemala, each place adding depth and texture to my worldview. My acclaimed monologue Stop Calling Me Girl! blends humor and hard truth as it exposes the subtle ways society diminishes women by labeling them as “girls,” even when strong, capable, and accomplished. This theme of reclaiming dignity and voice runs through much of my writing. In Belize I authored It’s Over: I’ve Had It; Stop Calling Me Girl and Lyfestyles: Thoughts for the Journey, and in Guatemala I wrote The Seamstress: A Dystopian Tale and trilogy: Intuitively Thinking About Life: Part 1 Human Rights, Intuitively Thinking About Life: Part 2 Inspiration and Intuitively Thinking About Life: Part 3 Politics.

My ministry journey has woven through Baptist, Free Methodist, Anglican, and United Church of Christ traditions before embracing a post‑denominational path. I was ordained after earning a Bachelor of Theology from Aldersgate Free Methodist College and three-year Master of Divinity from the Canadian Theological Seminary. A lifelong learner, I continue to seek new insights and perspectives. My cosmic spirituality centers on honoring the dignity of every person. In 2007 I was publicly crowned a Crone—an elder woman of wisdom—reflecting a commitment to guiding others toward recognizing their own beauty, gifts, and purpose.

Beyond ministry, I have been a professor of world religious traditions and philosophy, an advocate against sexual and physical abuse through the U.S. Department of Justice, licensed to sell securities, a certified mortgage trainer and ran a home building‑ownership support business serving the underserved.  My enthusiasm for life, learning, and love is contagious. My writing, personal sessons and stage presentations invite readers into deeper reflection, courageous self‑acceptance, and a more compassionate world.

Invite me to your next large gathering where you will be engaged to catch life-affirming concepts for use wherever life takes you.

I am available to you anywhere around the globe in person and virtually...

Always remember: YOU ARE A GIFT!
